Privacy

This page says what the cloudground.it site does, and is written from its code (the repository is public).

What the site collects

Nothing. The site is made of static pages:

  • no cookies and no visitor statistics;
  • no forms: for a question or a problem, open an issue on GitHub;
  • no outside service: fonts, search and images are served by the site itself. Search runs in your browser, on an index downloaded with the pages, and the words you search for do not leave your device;
  • the question "Was this page useful?" at the end of the guide only changes what the page shows: the answer is neither saved nor sent.

What stays in your browser

If you choose the light or dark theme with the button in the bar, the browser remembers the choice in the theme entry of its local storage (localStorage). It stays on your device, the site does not receive it, and you can clear it with the site's data in the browser's settings. If you do not touch the button, the site follows your system's setting and writes nothing.

Who hosts the site

The pages are served by GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. Like every web server, GitHub receives the IP address and the request headers of whoever visits the site, and handles them under its privacy statement. This site has no access to that data.

The links to GitHub (the code, the releases, the issues) lead off this site: from there, GitHub's rules apply.

Who is responsible

The site belongs to Emanuele Frascella, who is its data controller. For any question about this page, write to emanuele@frascella.dev.
